General

• Performance: Optimize the import and editing performance of complex vector files. Files open sooner, and dragging and editing feel smoother.
• Support two modes for the AI Assistant — docked in the side panel, or as a standalone window. Switch between them at any time, and move the standalone window to a second display.

Editor

• Support importing Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files directly.
• Support adding rounded corners to any vector shape.
• Add Resize Slots, which finds every slot and interlocking joint in a file and resizes them all to your target thickness in one step.
• Add three sizing modes for text: Auto Width, Auto Height and Auto Fit.
• Add the shortcut Command (Ctrl) + D for duplicating a selection in place. The command is also available in the menu bar.
• Add the shortcut V in node editing to switch back to the Selection tool.
• Add scenario presets to Nesting, along with a deep-optimization option that packs parts in tighter to improve material utilization.
• In Print mode, new text and shapes are now filled by default.
• Upgrade AI relief generation, with more depth and finer printed detail.

Material Settings
1. Add AI material recognition with setting recommendations: take a photo, and Studio identifies the material and applies matching settings.
2. Add test array recognition: Studio reads the results off your test grid automatically, so you can save and reuse them in one tap.

• Add a Scan angle setting for choosing the fill direction of vector shapes. On materials with a visible grain, such as wood, lining the scan angle up with the grain gives a more even finish. (P, S and M series)
