FixKon cleans up Windows and keeps it fast, and answers when you talk to it.
It finds what is filling your drive by reading the NTFS index directly, so searching every file on the disk takes about a second. It shows you exactly which files it will clear before it clears them, sends your own files to the Recycle Bin, shows which programs are slowing your boot, removes the folders and registry keys other uninstallers leave behind, and reads your PC's real health from Windows itself - SMART status, memory speed against its rated speed, and the crash history behind Reliability Monitor.
Hold Win+Alt and talk to it. FixKon sees your screen, points at what to click, and can carry out multi-step tasks across your PC and connected accounts. Every change it makes is recorded with its inverse, so "undo everything from the last hour" is a real command.
Every PC tool is free and manual. A plan lets FixKon run them on a schedule.
What's new in 1.0.28
Ask FixKon how to do something and it shows you. It flies to the control, labels it, and waits for you to click it before moving on to the next step. It never touches your mouse, so a walkthrough runs at your pace rather than on a timer. Ask it to do the thing instead and it just does it, as before.
It teaches inside other programs too, not only Windows. Software that draws its own interface, like music and design applications, used to leave it with nothing to point at. It now reads the screen and points anyway.
You can change your mind part way. Say "just do it" while being shown and it takes over; say "show me" while it is working and it walks you through instead. If you get stuck on a step it offers to do that part for you rather than pointing at the same button again.
Guide mode is now enforced by the app itself, so when it is on FixKon cannot change anything on your PC whatever it is asked. Previously the setting changed a label and nothing else.
The assistant speaks beside your cursor: what it is listening to, working on or saying now appears next to the pointer and moves with it.
There are three voices, James, Tori and Brian. Choosing the second one previously fell back to the first.
Deep Clean now shows what it is doing and how far along it is while it cleans, and it is faster - it no longer re-scans your whole user folder afterwards. The drive's free space is shown with the results, so you can see the space come back, and the amount reclaimed is measured on the drive itself.
Deep Clean also warns you when an app is holding its own cache open, since cleaning it while that app runs frees almost nothing.
The assistant now keeps to one voice - two could previously speak over each other when a reminder fired mid-sentence - and it answers questions instead of acknowledging them.
Cleanup can show you exactly which files it will remove before it removes them. FixKon now starts with Windows and sits in the tray as it should. Cancel and refund are together in one place, and refund requests are reviewed by a person rather than issued automatically.
