About GeoTSOL 2025

Are you looking for a professional and user-friendly software for the planning and design of heat pump systems? Then GeoT*SOL is the ideal tool for you.
GeoT*SOL offers you the choice between different heat sources (soil, air and groundwater), operating modes (monovalent, monoenergetic and bivalent) and numerous system configurations for your location. The program allows for bivalent systems with boiler as heat generator as well as the integration of solar thermal systems and photovoltaic systems.
Based on a dynamic minute simulation, electricity consumption, seasonal performance factors, operating costs and other system data can be calculated, taking into account blocking periods and tariffs. With these parameters, GeoT*SOL helps you to develop efficient and economical heat pump systems. Selected results can be conveniently incorporated into the project report for the client.

What's new in GeoTSOL 2025

The following new features and changes are included:
- New interface to SOLAR-COMPUTER GmbH for importing building data.
- New program language Italian.
- Operating times can now be defined for heating and domestic hot water.
- The results graphics are displayed in new colors.
- Access to the database has been accelerated; the database is now loaded when the program starts.
- The LM client has been updated.
- The databases have been updated.
The following bugs have been fixed:
- When exporting the project report, content was missing if the preview was turned off.
- Result graphics were displayed incorrectly, too large/too small.
- Result graphics contained empty data series.
- Tank losses were displayed incorrectly in the database dialog.
- Error message during installation (vcruntime140.dll not found).
- License was not released when logging out/shutting down Windows if GeoT*SOL was not closed beforehand.
- In the options, the automatic update check was not displayed correctly and changes were not saved.
- Own products were not transferred during a database update.
- Heat pump utilization was not displayed correctly in the result graphs.

Inkscape is an open-source vector graphics editor similar to Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Freehand, or Xara X. What sets Inkscape apart is its use of Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), an open XML-based W3C standard, as the native format. In contrast to raster (bitmap) graphics editors such as Photoshop or Gimp, Inkscape stores its graphics in a vector format. Vector graphics is a resolution-independent description of the actual shapes and objects that you see in the image. A rasterization engine uses this information to determine how to plot each line and curve at any resolution or zoom level. Contrast that to bitmap (raster) graphics which is always bound to a specific resolution and stores an image as a grid of pixels. Inkscape can import and display bitmap images, too. An imported bitmap becomes yet another object in your vector graphics, and you can do with it everything you can do to other kinds of objects (move, transform, clip, etc.) While Inkscape does not have all the features of the leading vector editors, the latest versions provide for a large portion of basic vector graphics editing capabilities. People report successfully using Inkscape in a lot of very different projects (web graphics, technical diagrams, icons, creative art, logos, maps).
