KiT is a quiet Windows companion that keeps your session awake (Light) or darkens the desktop without sleeping the PC (Night); Off returns ordinary Windows. One gesture each: Ctrl+Shift+D for Light, Ctrl+Shift+K for Night, hold either for Off.
Night has five faces (Blackout, Cosmos, Slither, Orbit, DVD), or Monitor off, which turns your displays off to save power while everything else keeps running. A touch of activity brings you back.
Optional Ghost bar (transparent, click-through), Hold Night, Auto after idle, Night brightness and run at sign-in. Remembers how you left it. Single instance. Checks for updates only when you ask. Entirely local. No account. No telemetry. No fake input.
