About Mocha TN5250

The AS/400, also called the "IBM iSeries", is a midrange server from IBM, designed for the business world. TN5250 is a terminal emulator that provides access to an AS/400.

  • Operating Systems: Windows 7/10/11, 32/64 bit. Version 2.6 or older versions can be used with XP if .NET Framework 4.0 is installed. Version 2.7 and later require .NET 4.7.2
  • Supports all standard 5250 emulation features

What's new in 4.4

- added bypass signon in menu - file - edit/new session.
Specify whether you wants to bypass the AS/400 sign on page. Make sure AS/400 server QRMTSIGN value is set to verify.
This option may not work on older AS/400 OS types. The current MochaSoft implementation uses SHA1. There is also an older 3DES and a PBKDF2 with HMAC SHA-512 option described in the IBM documentations, All 3 are not linked to specific AS/400 OS versions. If the protocol is not supported, the normal sign on screen will be displayed.
