What's new in 6.9.26257
New Features/Changes: Hour Restricted Media Items - Items with Hour Restrictions are now shown with the grey strike-through circle on the MediaGrid and in the Log Display. This brings them into line with the same appearance when the Media Item is Date Restricted. - There is a new setting in the Station Settings window on the Scheduled Log tab, under Log Display, Playback & Editing Options > When playing items from the Scheduled Log. When enabled, any manually added Media Items that are restricted for the current hour are skipped during Log Playback and shown as invalid in the Log Display with the grey strike-through circle. This option is Off by default, which is the same behaviour as v6.8 and earlier, meaning hour restricted items will play as normal. Turning this option ON will cause Hour Restricted items to be skipped. This does not affect Split Items or members of Media Lists which will still use the restrictions to control which items can be played. - Note: Date restricted items will still always be skipped during playback. Media Library/Report: - You can now see Copyright information in the Search Results. You can Show/Hide this information via a new ribbon button at the top. Smart Info - National Highways Traffic: - Important: Due to changes in the way that the settings are stored, you will need to re-select the National Highways Provider in Station Settings. - The provider can now also show TFL status information as well as regular traffic reports. There is a new checkbox on the Station Settings window in the National Highways settings area. - The provider has been updated to reduce the number of calls made to the National Highways servers and caches the results for up to 15 minutes in line with National Highways requirements. If you make any changes to the settings, they may take up to 15 minutes before new traffic information is displayed. The following issues have been fixed: - Live AutoHooks: Previewing the live Auto-Hook list would cause Myriad to close at the end of the hook playback. - Update Media Wizard: Attributes could not be updated in stations other than Station 0 if the database was set to use Shared Attributes.
New Features/Changes: Smart Info: - Traffic: There is a new National Highways traffic provider that has replaced the Highways England provider. You will need to register a new account with National Highways to get your "Subscription Key" that you then need to enter into the Station Settings window on the Location/SmartInfo tab. You can register for a new account at https://developer.data.nationalhighways.co.uk/signin Media Playback: - Important Stream playback changes: Due to the fix to the issue noted below with Stream Playback become unstable after any stream delays, the Media Engine now uses a different calculation for how much of a stream to buffer before playing the stream. If you are using Streams to play time critical events then you MUST re-confirm any allowances you have made for the time delay of the stream as the end-to-end delay may have changed slightly. Log Playback: - Myriad now also checks each member of a List item to make sure they are not Hour Restricted themselves from being played in the Scheduled Hour that contains the parent list. Previously this was only checked when Myriad Schedule was considering placing the item itself directly within the Schedule Log. Media Update Wizard: - You can now apply a visual filter to the Summary grid before importing to review the information that will be imported. Clock Editing: …
