Standalone parser for sysstat sar binary data files (sa files), independent of sar/sadf
reSARch parses sysstat sa binary files on its own, without sar or sadf installed. It produces
sar text and sadf (-d -p -r -j -x) compatible output, detects anomalies across a file and charts
them as SVG, and converts older file generations to the current one. Runs on Linux, macOS and
Windows.
Install
Homebrew (macOS / Linux)

Open a new terminal afterwards so that the updated PATH takes effect.
Download
Download resarch-<target>.tar.gz for your platform from the assets below (.zip on Windows), extract it and put resarch on your PATH. SHA256SUMS lists the checksums of all assets. On Linux distributions with an older glibc, use resarch-x86_64-unknown-linux-musl.tar.gz.

Breaking changes
