Softspoken is a private dictation app and meeting notetaker for Windows that transcribes on your own computer. Hold a key in any app, say what you mean, and clean text lands at your cursor, about three times faster than typing. Take the minutes in a boardroom or on a Zoom or Teams call with no bot in the room, and get who said what, what was decided, and who owes what by when.
The audio never leaves your computer. Recording and transcription run on your own machine, and by default the audio is deleted once the notes are written. The optional AI layer, for cleaning up dictation and writing meeting summaries, runs in Australia, or on your own Anthropic or AWS key on a paid plan, or you can turn AI off entirely.
